Digital Communications Manager


Principle Objective

Reporting to the Marketing & Development Director the Digital Communications Manger will be responsible for the development of the digital customer communication strategy to support the overall Chadwicks Group digital strategy.  The purpose of this role is to deliver a best in class customer experience across all touchpoints.


Key Responsibilities

*         Development and implementation of the digital marketing communications strategy for Chadwicks Group

*         Project manage the delivery of marketing and corporate content on a suite of fully transactional websites across the Chadwicks Group brands which deliver an unrivaled customer experience

*         Planning, implementation, and management of all digital marketing campaign

*         Managing digital agencies to deliver agreed objectives and targets

*         Systematic reporting of performance of all online channels

*         Development of SEO and PPC campaigns to drive traffic to the websites

*         Ongoing monitoring of google analytics to ensure effectiveness of SEO/ PCC activity

*         Quarterly updates on the latest digital trends across retail and construction

*         Active involvement in CSR activities including community, charity and sustainability initiatives


Knowledge & Experience

  • 5+ years in a customer experience or a customer Marketing role at management level
  • A strong working knowledge of digital platforms
  • Demonstrable experience in online and digital project/ campaign mgmt.
  • Experience in Google analytics, PPC, SEO
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & achieve tight deadlines
  • A self-starter, ability to think on your feet and make tough decisions with a desire to embrace responsibility and take ownership
  • Experience of managing a team


Desirable Competencies

  • Previously worked within a B2B or Retail environment
  • Keen interest in digital technology
  • Copywriting/editing and/or photography skills a plus
  • Experience with dotdigital
  • Experience with Magento platform and pagebuilder
