Position: Trade Sales Advisor

Location: Glasnevin, Dublin 11

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time (39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday roster participation)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers to understand their needs and ensure the correct products are supplied.
  • Identify sales opportunities and provide advice and solutions to maximize profitable sales and margins.
  • Achieve sales and margin targets.
  • Maintain a clean and well-merchandised counter area in line with company policy.
  • Follow company policies when producing sales-related paperwork.
  • Manage the re-ordering and stock levels of selected product lines within the Plumbing and Heating department.
  • Liaise with suppliers as needed.
  • Support the Branch Manager and colleagues to ensure efficient and effective branch operations.
  • Maintain a tidy working environment in line with health and safety guidelines.
  • Safeguard against theft by being security conscious at all times.
  • Perform other duties as required by the company.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a busy builder providers is preferable.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and margin targets.
  • Good knowledge of Plumbing & Heating products is a distinct advantage.
  • Previous sales experience is an advantage.
  • IT literacy.
