Trade Counter Manager - Davies - Raheny, Dublin 5

The role of the Trade Counter Manager is to provide to our valued customers knowledge and dependable service while working as part of a greater team. It will also be the role of the manager to optimise branch sales and margin with the product portfolio on offer and all in keeping with the highest level of professionalism and customer care. The manger is addition will be responsible for a budget and margin pre-set with the senior management team.

Knowledge & Experience

• Previous experience working in a retail environment
• Sales experience in renewables and Heat Pumps preferable but not essential
• A proven record of delivering on targets and margin expectations
• IT Literacy

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, Motivate and manage trade counter team
• Selling a wide range of renewables including Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Heating Controls and Space Heating options
• Selling top brand bathroom product including, ceramic, furniture, brassware and shower solutions
• Ensure the trade counter space is maintained to high standard
• Build and maintain strong product knowledge through ongoing training and engagement with suppliers
• Proactively generate enquiries and manage quotes generated
• Achieve sales & margin targets in line with company objectives
• Managing order well including specials Create brand loyalty
• Assist in variance checks and returns
